Stevens eighth in Brownstown 100 at Brownstown Bullring
Tyler Stevens made a surprise start at Brownstown Bullring (Brownstown, Ill.) on Friday evening for the MARS Championship Series-sanctioned Brownstown 100.
With 35 Late Models entered for the event's $10,000 top prize, Stevens followed up seventh-fastest qualifying effort in his time trial group with a fourth-place finish in his heat. Wheeling his way into the top-10 in the feature, Tyler muscled forward six positions in the 50-lap affair to register an eighth-place finish.
